Back on Track Back Warmer
For horses that are stiff in the back, the back warmer can be a great help. By improving mobility in the back, you can eliminate many everyday problems of horses in all disciplines. It was this Back on Tack product that was used in a double blind study under the guidance of vet Chris Johnston in which it was found that riders and vets agreed on substantial improvements in the back activity of their horses: it increased by about 50% in trot and canter.
The back warmer consists of polypropylene with ceramic infused particles (Welltex® fabric) forming a relatively solid filling. Due to its location, it optimally covers the entire back muscles as well as the lumbering and kidney area. It has a detachable Velcro fastener over the entire length of the back to attach it to the normal horse rug. In addition, the back warmer can be attached to the horse's back with an elastic strap. For this purpose, it has two slots on the sides. Rings for fastening a chest strap or tail strap (both not included) are also attached in the front and rear area of the back warmer. Due to its shape, the back warmer can preferably be used in resting phases, e.g. on the stable lane or inside the stable. Please do not use for riding! Available in sizes 100x100cm and 100x120cm.
