Bib Martingale Attachment - Closed Martingale, Full Size
Bib martingale attachment made of high quality leather, hand-crafted. The inner part of the triangle is made of a two-layer soft leather, with a rounded stitching seam on its top. The bib martingale can be attached to breastplates either by means of its buckle or with a swivel hook included in the supply. Design and sizing of this product were made in conformity with professional sport requirements. Due to the length of its punched strap, this bib martingale can be optimally adjusted to the needs of various types of horses and to different breastplate types. As the inner diameter of the martingale rings is 3.5 cm, also 2 pairs of reins can be conducted through them.
General advantage of bib martingales: a smoother and straighter guiding and control of the horse, especially in curves and turns, as its neck gets more tightly enclosed between both rider’s hands and the outer rein automatically remains „in a closer contact“ with the horse’s mouth than with conventional martingales. Insofar, it can also be highly recommended for horses/ponies which tend to ignore and withdraw from the rider’s outer leg. In addition, the bib piece prevents horses from catching/biting into the martingale attachment straps.
