Anti-Entangling Sleeve to be pushed over the Martingale Strap
Safety and protection product from the top sport. Protects the horse hoof from getting entangled in the martingale while jumping.
Purpose and function: the sleeve is pushed over the lower end of the martingale strap in order to cover the martingale loop and buckle. The snap hook on the inside of the sleeve should be engaged in the ring of the belly/jumping girth or,if not needed, can also be cut off. The smooth and closed transition area on the lower chest oft he horse is supposed to prevent hooves, horseshoes or studs from getting caught in the martingale strap which can otherwise lead to severe falls.
In addition to this, the widened shape of the foam padded sleeve prevents the sensitive lower chest skin of the horse from chafing or cutting effects of a tight fitting martingale strap.
