Leather Dressage/Short girth „Two Ways“

New dressage girth model which can be attached in either direction (with the bigger central recess to the front or back) in order to achieve and maintain the desired saddle position (more forward or backward).
Due its universal design (width in the middle approx. 13.5 cm, on the lateral ends approx. 11 cm), this short girth is suited for various types of horses. The medium-wide layout of this girth (for optimal pressure distribution) avoids constrictions which may occur especially with narrow girths, as well as pinching or other obstructions which can be caused by extremely wide or dish-shaped girths when used on narrow-chested horses.
The stainlees steel roller buckles of the girth are connected to the leather body by means of a sturdy, yet slightly elastic textile material. This limited elasticity permits a gentle closing and tightening of the girth, while preventing the buckles from being drawn beyond the leather edges of the girth. A centrally located, large D-ring fitted with a high-strength textile material permits a comfortable attachment and removal of auxiliary reins. An additional strap guide, divided in its middle, provides for a straight and proper arrangement of overlapping saddle strap ends.

The entire bearing surface of the girth is covered with a foam-lined and rounded soft leather padding to prevent chafing.
