Elastic Breastplate C&E (Classic and Elastic), 3-in-1 with Neck Strap
Elastic breastplate fitted with an
additional neck strap (with snap hooks), a wide and thus horse-friendly martingale strap and a special, split breast ring keeping all straps correctly in position. All upper straps are attached by snap hooks and not firmly sewn to the ring which permits an easy assembly and removal, if required.
"3-in1", since you have 3 usage options offered by 1 product:
1) Use of the complete breastplate, as delivered, i. e. with leather neck strap and elastic straps, which is especially SAFE (siehe nachfolgende Erläuterungen).
2) Use as a conventional elastic breastplate, by unhooking the leather neck strap.
3) Use as a regular, simple leather martingale, by unhooking the elastic straps.
Additional special design features and benefits:
- Perfectly adjustable fit and support of the breastplate on the horse‘s neck.
- Through the proper adjustment of the breatplate towards the top, i. e. by means of the neck strap, the martingale can be fitted very closely, yet comfortably to the chest of the horse. Therefore, the risk for hooves or horseshoes of getting entangled in a slacking martingale strap is reduced considerably. This safety aspect was particularly important to us!
- Maximum freedom of movement: especially critical for horses which quickly feel constricted and obstructed by more compact breastplates in the chest and shoulder area.
- Horse-friendly, wide martingale strap (approx. 2.5 cm) protects from cutting and chafing in the sensitive breast skin.
- Double-adjustable, medium-length martingale fork (no excessive length as unfortunately still supplied with many conventional products).
- Snap hook for attaching the martingale to the girth. If the hook is not required or needs to be replaced, e. g. due to damaging, it can be easily removed or replaced (not firmly sewn).
- Comprehensively tested in practice and designed to be suited for a wide range of different warmblood horse types.
- Can be optimally combined with our special martingale forks (bib martingale attachment, elastic short martingale) of course.
