For bathing/soaking applications in the treatment of Equine Canker
(also suitable in case of severe and persistent thrush)
Revital K is an innovative, concentrated intensive hygiene cleaner that fights the formation of necrotic tissue (hoof canker) on a large scale, while at the same time protecting healthy horn, hardening it again and stimulating new growth.
Revital K is therefore particularly recommended for hoofs that are already affected by hoof canker in several areas or have even been structurally destroyed by this disease and should in any case be used BEFORE a possible application of Revital Finish (for an even deeper treatment of special, individual spots of canker, if necessary afterwards at all) is taken into consideration.
Revital K was developed for the non-surgical treatment of equine canker by the farrier or, if necessary, veterinarian, as it enables layer-by-layer and largely bloodless removal of the diseased, dying tissue, supports the self-healing powers of the hoof (restoration of normal horn formation) and – last but not least – significantly improves the well-being of the horse after only a few bathing applications.
Revital K contains neither heavy metals nor antibiotics, is ADMR compliant and not doping-relevant!
It can therefore also be used for broodmares which are in foal or lactating.

PES Revital K Intensive Hygiene Bath for the Horse Hoof
Relieves discomfort in bacterial, fungal, viral and parasite infection, rot, inflammation and other pathological changes. Inhibits the spread of pathogens in the long term through the strong cleansing effect. Necrotic tissue dries out, so that it can be removed/cut off.
- Use in soaker/medical boot
-Dilution 300 ml concentrate/litre (30%); in acute cases up to 500ml/L (50%) increase, then let it dry
- use as daily as possible, do not oil or grease hooves during the entire treatment period!
- dries out necrotic tissue which can be easily removed/cut off later
- systematically counteracts the alkalization (softening) of the hoof caused by canker
- Exposure time: up to 60 min.; do not use in case of open, bleeding skin areas. After bathing, wrap up hooves cleanly and dry!
- consume within 6 months after opening
Safety advice: Contains peroxides. May have a bleaching effect. Causes severe eye irritation. In case of eye contact immediately rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor if necessary. Drink plenty of water and rinse your mouth if swallowed, consult a doctor if necessary. Must not get into the hands of children. Store the container closed and cool in a dark place, max. 18°C, or put into a refrigerator, if necessary.
